Thermal transfer paper is a type of paper that is heat-sensitive and reacts when interacted with a heated pin. Thermal Transfer labels offer greater durability, provide more protection against environmental conditions, and yields a longer shelf life. Thermal transfer printing is one of the most popular methods used for producing high quality, free format, random, on demand printed images. The advantages of low equipment cost, low maintenance costs, high image quality, quiet printer operation, and small size make this technology well suited for printing bar code symbols.

Polyester films are flexible, exceptionally strong and durable transparent films. They have a high tensile, tear and impact strength. Filmic Item Label Stock is available with Water Base Adhesive in 20”/40” width (or any size can slit by the customer's requirements in 20”/40”). Polyester film is used in many types of packaging applications ranging from food and drugs to industrial and consumer goods. As plain or metallised, our polyester film is formable, heat-shrinkable and/or coated for barrier, metal adhesion, laminating adhesion, extrusion coating adhesion, printing, or sealing.

Direct Thermal labels do not require a ribbon for printing data such as bar codes, text and graphics. Direct Thermal labels utilize a special thermally reactive coating on the label surface that reacts with the heat from the printer's print head. Typically Direct Thermal applications require a shorter shelf life than Thermal Transfer applications. Commonly used for shipping labels, receipts, name tags, picking and event tickets.
