After deareation the oil is continuously heated in regenerative heat exchanger, utilizing hot oil from the deodorizer. The final deodorizing temperature is achieved in a heat exchanger by thermal oil, which is circulated through an automatically working heating unit. Further, the oil enters the deodorizer where flows continuously through a number of trays via specially designed overflow channels. Each tray is equipped with special oil flow baffles in order to control the flow through the tray and prevent short-circuiting. During stock change, the trays are drained through separate drop valves.
