Both ends are tube and the assembly is with ferruleweld nipple. The joint is made by assembly of fittings withferrule. A weld nipple can be used instead of a ferrule when it is required to join two pipes of an equal size.Tube to tube (equal fittings) :these fittings are generally known as stud couplings.Tube to threads (malefemale) :during installation, when a swiwelend is needed to fit with a fixed line, a special swiwel nut is provided which canrevolve around the body but will not disengage. Swiwel connections are also available.Tube to swivel :these are used for high pressure applications an provide a 360 rotation facility. These fittings are mainly used forpositioning the tube fitting line. The perforated hollow shaped bolts directly on the end pass through the sphericalunion body for fluid transfer.Banjo fittings :used to connect fittings with instruments. Tmi has a wide range of adaptors with different threads - metric, bsp, bspt, npt.Adaptors :port reducers, closing plugs, ferrules, nuts, o rings, u rings, elastomeric rings. Tmi fittings are available in light series: 4mm-8mm, medium 6mm-42mm andheavy series:6mm-38mmdepending on the pipe size. Fittings with weld nipples are available only in heavy series.
