The ISDN TA with built in NT is an ISDN network Terminator with 2 a/b (POTS) ports with serial and USB built in data ports. The data port provides a high speed solution for internet access, File transfers, Remote Access services etc. Support for advanced communication software is provided via CAPI 2.0 drivers. On the Digital port up to 8 devices (with optional extender) can be terminated such as video conferencing for 64 or 128 kbps, ISDN Feature Phones, G4 fax etc. Configuration is simple, using an analog telephone or via a GUI utility provided on the data ports. The data ports are provided with drivers for easy of installation. The LEDs provided on the front give you the status at a glance also making diagnostics and to provide for ease of maintenance. The ISDN TA with built in NT also supports Network Management Services which are password protected. This helps in knowing the status of the unit also allows remote configuration that saves time required to effect changes in the configuration without the need to visit the customers location. Support for remote firmware upgrade is also included this helps to keep the system updated to the latest features which is very cost effective in the long run. ISDN TA with built in NT is housed in a small sturdy and aesthetically designed case.
Telenets ISDN Network Termination for basic rate access is the main gate to the world of ISDN. It enables subscribers to use services such as high-speed transmission of data, text and video signals in digital format over an access line in addition to voice transmission. It is a link between the subscriber line (U Interface) and the user Interface to the network (S/T interface). A maximum of 8 terminal units can be connected to the S/T interface. The digital transmission format used offers the subscriber the possibility of access to two independent Basic Channels (B Channels) each with 64 Kbit/s and one 16 Kbit/s Signaling Channel (D), to be transmitted. The terminals connected to S/T for any two ISDN services can use both B channels simultaneously. The associated Signaling information and various service features are transmitted over the D Channel. This result in a Transmission speed of 144 Kbits/s for both transmits and receives direction. The NT1 is installed at the end of the public transmission line coming from the ISDN switch of the local exchange and converts the 2-wire duplex U interface into the 4wire double simplex subscriber S/T interface.
Features:
The technical data of the NT1 is as under
Telenets Midspan POE is a Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) power supply with integral DC Injector. It is a single-port Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) Midspan to feature gigabit switching support and high efficiency four-pair operation compliant with the IEEE 802.3at power-over Ethernet (PoE) power specifications. It provides DC power for one PoE-equipped device by "Injecting" DC power through the CAT5e Ethernet cable.
Telenets Midspan PoE can source 15W to 120W of Power:Telenets Midspan PoE can deliver power as per the IEEE802.3af and IEEE802.3at standards. Simultaneously for Power Devices that demand more power than that specified by these standards we have a proprietary range, wherein power can be sourced on 2-pair as well as 4-pairs, also this per port power rating can be increased from 30W up to 240W, thereby considerably increasing the delivered to the Power Device.
