BEAKER: Beaker are made from SS-316 hollow seamless pipe of 4 mm thickness . The lid is made of SS and it fits into the beaker and is sealed by Teflon rings to avoid the leakage. Beaker are held securely by 4-6 mm Steel plate through screw .
HEATING: For Maintaining the temperature above 100oC. In main tank all 3 heater of 2 KW & Shaft . These heaters can be worked simultaneously or individually as required rise of Temperature. This is controlled by Temprature Controller & Indicator. with Timer

One of the methods for determining the count of yarn is by making a lea of standard circumference and number of turns and finding its weight, from which the tex or the count of the yarn can be determined. The lea is usually made on a Wrap Reel, which may be either hand or motor operated. These leas may be also be used for the determination of the strength of yarn (Lea strength), or for conducting certain chemical or colour fastness tests. The leas may be either Imperial having a circumference of 54 inches and having 80 turns, or Metric having a circumference of one meter and having 100 turns.
INSTALLATION
The equipment is dispatched in fully assembled condition. In the Wrap Reel used to prepare leas of only one size the reel is fixed permanently over the rotating shaft of the Wrap Reel.
PROCEDURE
+ Place the bobbins from which the yarn is to be drawn on the guide pins on the left hand side of the equipment base plate. Up to seven bobbins can be mounted at one time. Draw yarn from the last bobbin and pass it over the horizontal guide rod and through the last pig-tail eye on the square aluminium rod. Tie the free end of the yarn to the last screw on one of the arms of the reel. Repeat the procedure to fix the yarn from the remaining bobbins to the corresponding screws.
+ The bobbin circle is separate from the main reel.
+ Raise the dockable arm of the reel to its highest position by turning the cam below it anti-clockwise.
+ Set the turns counter to zero. Start rotating the reel clockwise to form the leas. Continue rotating till the required number of turns is reached (80 for imperial leas or 100 for metric leas).
+ Unite the free ends of each of the leas in turn and tie them to the other ends of the same lea without either pulling the yarn too much or leaving a slack in it. Cut the yarn at the bobbin side near the knot.
+ Lower the dockable arm by turning the cam clockwise. This would loosen the leas and facilitate their removal from the reel.
+ Repeat the above procedure to obtain more leas if required.
Conduct the desired tests on the leas so formed following the steps outlined in the testing procedures for the tests to be carried out. The leas may be conditioned before carrying out these tests, if so specified.

The strength of a yam and other properties of fabrics depends to a great extent on the amount of twist given to it. Thus accurate determination of this factor is of prime importance in assessing the quality of any yarn. The amount of twist given to a yam is usually determined by untwisting a known length of yam and finding the number of rotations of one of its ends relative to the other which remove the twists completely. The equipment used for determination of twists of a yam is known as Twist Tester
The motorised version of the tester is also available using a universal motor and a direction changing mechanism for selecting proper untwisting direction check.
The 'TEXTILE TECHNOCRATS Twist Tester for yarns consists of a set of clamps, one of which is rotating and the other fixed. The rotating clamp is driven by hand through a speed increasing arrangement and a five digits re-settable revolution counter to count the number of twists. The fixed clamp is pivoted on jewel bearings and carries of a pendulum arm having a sliding weight to give the desired tension to the yam. The fixed clamp assembly can be moved over a guide bar for setting the required test length of yam which is indicated on a strip scale fixed to the base against a pointer attached to the moving assembly. A viewing plate and a magnifying glass are provided for accurate determination of the end point. A dissecting needle for ascertaining complete removal of twist is supplied as standard accessory with the equipment. The various components are fixed on a rigid cast iron base for strength and durability. The base is finished in off white synthetic stoving enamel paint and all parts bright chrome plated to give a corrosion resistant finish and highly aesthetic appearance.
