Jujube plant is a evergreen fruit plant that is known as Kul in Bengali and this plant belongs from family of Rhamnaceae. Scientific name of this plant is Ziziphus jujube and Zizyphus spinosa. Fruit of this plant is called Jujube. It is a high vitamin added fruit plant and this plant also called medicinal plant. Jujube is green colored in unripe condition and in ripe condition it is orange or red colored. It has one hardy seed so it is called one seeded plant.Jujube plant loves sunlight, so it must be placed in full sun; this plant can tolerate minimum temperature between 5C to 12C and maximum temperature between 35C to 45C. Very low or very high temperature can damage this plant. For this plants well growth it needs sandy loam and well drained soil. It needs regular and proper watering like once or twice in a week. In growing time of this plant, it needs well care and maintenance. Fertilizing properly like once within fifteen days is preferable for this plants well growth.
