Energy Plant is a unique solution from Thermax which offers multiple heating media such as Steam, thermal oil and Hot gas through highly efficient system with thermal efficiency more than 94%.
This system helps to minimize cost and maximize the operating efficiency. We have capability of supplying Energy Plant up to 97 MW.
Thermax is the first absorption chiller manufacturer in the world to commercialise the ultimate in absorption technology the Triple Effect Absorption Chiller. This is a major breakthrough in the field of refrigeration and air-conditioning. Triple effect absorption chillers have a Coefficient of Performance (COP) of 1.8, which is nearly 30% higher than the double effect absorption chillers. This helps the user to reduce the energy requirement for cooling significantly.

Thermax triple effect absorption chillers are designed based on its proven advanced series flow technology. This ensures that the highest concentration and highest temperature of Lithium Bromide solution doesn't occur simultaneously. Due to this the rate of corrosion is negligible compared to the para flow or reverse flow technologies. Coupled with an accurate online concentration measurement, the Thermax Triple effect absorption chillers are extremely user friendly and significantly reduces user intervention and down time.
The variable frequency drives on solution pumps helps to improve the COP during part loads and also offers a stable operation. It also increases the life of the solution pump. Ferritic stainless steel tubes in generators of the triple effect machine have thermal expansion coefficient similar to carbon steel and thus helps to avoid the stress corrosion cracking. The plate type solution heat exchangers increase the COP by offering maximum internal heat recovery. The stainless steel plates of these solution heat exchangers ensure long life and reliability.
The operation of the absorption chiller is controlled by stand-alone PLC based control panel. The touch screen HMI provided on the control panel through which the operator can set the necessary set points and can see all the operating parameters, status, alarms, trip logs. The chiller is also equipped with necessary level controls, temperature sensors, flow safety devices etc. to control and safeguard the chiller. For viewing the operating parameters of the chiller from a remote location, MODBUS RTU or Ethernet connectivity is available.

Heat pumps drive heat from a lower temperature to medium temperature, using high grade energy. Thermax heat pumps utilise steam, hot water, exhaust, fuel, geothermal energy or any combination of these heat sources, to pump heat. Heat pumps save approximately 35% of heat energy.
HEAT PUMP TYPE IThermax heat pumps are extensively used in Europe, Scandinavian countries and China for district heating applications. Heat pumps are also used in industries like: textile plants, edible oil, food, auto & white goods, etc. Thermax has over 100 MW capacity of heat pump installations to its credit, installed across the globe.

Heat transformer also known as Type-II heat pump, in which medium grade heat is pumped to high grade heat. With a heat transformer, waste heat can be upgraded, virtually without the use of high temperature driving energy. The input heat source i.e., Waste heat of a medium temperature is supplied to the evaporator and generator and useful heat of higher temperature is given off in the absorber. These heat transformers can achieve a delivery temperature up to 160C, typically with a lift of 50C.
Thermax has commissioned a Heat transformer at M/s. Asia Silicon in Western part of China. The plant manufactures poly film for photovoltaic cells and the process requires water at 100C. During the process this water temperature increases to 108C and for reutilization, the 108C water leaving the process was cooled to 100C in a dry cooler where the heat was simply rejected to the atmosphere. Using the Heat Transformer, 45% of the available heat is converted to steam at 4bar.g, which finds use in the manufacturing process.

SolPac NI30, non imaging collector from Thermax, caters to heating applications up to 120C for industrial as well as commercial applications. These collectors can be fixed on flat as well as inclined roofs & require no tracking. Unlike flat plate collectors or evacuated tube collectors which can only deliver temperatures up to 60 C, SolPac NI30 collectors can deliver temperatures up to 120 C. This product deploys secondary reflectors to ensure maximum solar radiation capture across seasonal variations.
Thermax offers thermal oil/thermic fluid heaters, fired by a wide range of fuels. Our heaters are available in both solid fuel firing as well as oil/gas firing versions so that you get the advantage of economically available fuels.
Thermal Oil Heaters range from 0.1 million kcal/hr to 20 million kcal/hr. All Thermal Oil Heaters are made with a coil type design ensuring instant heat. Thermax offers fuel options of heavy oil, light oil, gas, dual fuel, coal, husk, bagasse and other agro-waste fuels.
Thermax manufactures hot water boilers in the range of 50, 000 to 90, 00, 000 kcal per hour. The hot water boilers are designed to operate on various types of fuels such as heavy oil, light oil, gas, duel fuel, coal, husk and other agro waste fuels.
The three types of hot water boilers, manufactured at our unit, are Aquamatic, Aquatherm and Thermocontainers.

Thermax offers a range of speciality sugar chemicals. Our range includes organic and inorganic antiscalants, biocides and sugar juice clarifications.
Sugar Mill Sanitation BiocidesSH-401 is a caramate based microbiocide specially formulated to inhibit growth of bacteria and fungi in cane sugar mills.
These chemicals are highly effective against acid producing bacterial and fungi found in sugar mills. It also improves sugar recovery from stored sugar by reducing bacterial sugar inversion. SH-401 also inhibits enzyme action for the time between crushing of cane and lime neutralisation.
Maxtreat-4000 is a multi-component liquid chemical specially formulated to inhibit scale formation in sugar cane juice evaporators and vacuum pans.
Powerful active agent in Maxtreat-4000 keeps heat transfer surfaces clean and free from excessive deposition. Maxtreat-4000 contains a sequestering agent which keeps calcium and magnesium salts as water soluble complexes preventing them from scaling. Depending upon the nature of scale forming compound, dosage of Maxtreat-4000 can be adjusted to improve the capacity of evaporation.
FlocculantsCanefloc is a highly effective coagulant for separation of suspended solids in sugar juice. This product is use in the sugar juice clarifier and for sugar mud filtration. A high charge density anionic polymer, it helps in flocculation of suspended matter forming dense, easy setting flocs.
The anionic nature and higher molecular weight of Canefloc helps in formation of dense flocculations. Therefore, the volume of mud generated is reduced and solids in clarifier bottom increase. The higher molecular weight of Canefloc helps in formation of tough flocs, which improves filterability of mud and loss of juice in mud is reduced.
Maxtreat 4025 helps in: improving centrifugation efficiency and sugar colour; better exhaustion of molasses; reduction of sugar losses & improving recovery.
By reducing surface tension, Maxtreat 4025 improves boiling efficiency, crystallisation, centrifugation and exhaustion of molasses, resulting in improved sugar crystals and sugar recovery. This improves fluidity, reduces boiling time and improves circulation.
In Oil & Gas segment fired heaters are an essential requirement for heating Thermic fluid , process fluids Feed stock , charge heating , steam heating and for thermal cracking .in the refinery segment of oil & gas sector, The design of these units depends on the application and the choice can be between vertical cylindrical' or box-type furnace' designs. These units are offered either for Offshore or for On shore installation.
The heaters are designed in accordance to API codes, are equipped with multi fuel firing capabilities and are engineered to operate at high efficiency. The design can incorporate air pre heat systems that make use of carbon steel, cast iron or glass tubes to achieve high efficiency.
