Platinum as an industrial product has a profound use in view of its inherent and special chemical as well as physical properties like high corrosion resistance, thermal conductivity and catalytic nature. Being a very expensive metal to be used in its solid form, it is applied by Electro-deposition on titanium or niobium. Thus making it economical and at the same time retaining the advantages offered by platinum.
