Method of Application : - Before applying Wall shield wall putty, remove all dust, grease and any other foreign or loose materials from the wall surface with the help of sand paper, putty blade or wire brush.
- Mositen the wall with sufficient quanitity of clean water. It is essential theat wall is wet during the application of the putty.
- Mix Wall Shield wall putty with 30-35% clean water showly for 10 15 minutes to make a uniform past.
- Now apply the first coat from bottom to upward direction uniformly with putty blade. This would ensure less wastage and proper finish.
- Allow the first coat to dry, just the surface gently with a sponge or very gently with putty blade in order to remove loose paticles.
- Allow the surface to dry for atleast 3 hours and then apply the second coat of putty.
- Leave the surface to dry completley, preferably overnight.
- Always prepare a required quantity of putty and use in within 2 3 hours of mixing with water.
- The total thickness of coats should be limited to max 1.5mm.
