Pig Iron as major Blast Furnace product is already a primary Fe alloy used for further making of different grades of Steel and steel alloys. Typical single Blast Furnace capacity is 1000MT and that is minimal taken order quantity usually preceding annual min. 1000MTmonth x12 contract. 100% or at least 50% prepayment applies when placing order directly at factory and the factory is not indifferent as to who is making inquiry, real end-user or fictitious broker. The enquirer is expected to indicate precise quantity, precise grade and precise chemical composition also: Pig Iron, P1: Carbon unrationed, Silicon 0.5-0.9%Pig Iron, P2: Carbon unrationed, Silicon < 0.5%Pig Iron, PL1: Carbon 4.0-4.5%, Silicon 0.8-1.2%Pig Iron, PL2: Carbon 4.0-4.5%, Silicon 0.5-0.8%===================================Manganese < 0.3% to 0.9-1.5%Phosphorous 0.08% to 0.3%Sulphur 0.01% to 0.05% Minimal order quantity is 1000MT because this is minimal capacity of a single blast furnace where primary Iron Ore, Coke & Catalysts for requested Basic Pig Iron grade are to be smelted.
