Calcium Nitrate is a fantastic 100% water soluble fertilizer that is used by hobbyists and professional growers world wide. It's high nitrogen levels encourage lush vegetative growth, and the water soluble calcium increases cell wall strength in plants and can prevent common calcium deficiencies like blossom end rot in tomatoes.

HYDROPONIC APPLICATION RATES
It is recommended to use in conjunction with other balanced fertilizers (We recommend MasterBlend). A suggested starting solution consists of 12g MasterBlend 4-18-38 fertilizerand 6g Epsom Salts (Completely dissolve in 5 gallons of water), and finally 12g Calcium Nitratedissolved in water as the last step.
SOIL & FOLIAR APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Foliar Application: Mix2-4 tspper 1 gallon of water and spray the foliage.
As a Supplemental (Side Dressing) Fertilizer Application: Apply 1 pound per 100 feet of row (1 cup per 50 feet of row or 1 level tablespoonful per plant). Apply to root growing area. Do not place within 2 inches of stalk or crown of plants. Do not allow contact with wet foliage.
