Umaxe - Neutral Salts 660-working Range 600c/900c
Umaxe 660 is used in the above working range for Hardening of various Carbon steels, Alloy steels, Tool steels and for pre heating the High speed steels and Hot working Die steels before treating them in Umaxe 970.The bath gives Freedom from Decarburization and Umaxe 660 is less soluble in Water. Umaxe Regenerator is used at the rate of 225 Gms per 100 kgs of Umaxe 660.

Umaxe - Neutral Salts 720- Working Range 72Oc/900c
Umaxe 720 is used with Umaxe Regenerator as a Neutral salt which gives freedom from Decarburization. It neither has a tendency to carburize the steel. It has an excellent tendency to readily soluble in water. Umaxe 720 is used in the above working range for Hardening of various Carbon steels, Alloy steels, Tool steels. Umaxe Regenerator is used at the rate of 325 Gms per 100 kgs of Umaxe 720 per 8 hrs. a day.

Umaxe - Neutral Salts 830 - Working Range 830c/1100c
Umaxe 830 is used in the above working range for Hardening of various Chromium steels; Rust resisting tool steels and various Hot Working Die steels.

Umaxe Regenerator is used at the rate of 125 gms per 100 kgs of UMAXE830 per 8hrs a day. For every 8 hrs, the bath should be sledged accordingly.

Umaxe - Neutral Salts Regenerator

Umaxe - Neutral Salts Regenerator
Umaxe Regenerator is added to the Umaxe 660720830970 baths to avoid Decarburization by maintaining regular additions. It should be added when the bath is at the normal operating temperatures. It forms a layer on the bottom of the pot and this layer tends to become hotter than the salt. Care should therefore be taken while inserting the thermocouple end from dipping in to this layer.
