KwikSense Digital Smart Gas Transmitter

KwikSense Smart Gas Transmitters are universal transmitters with plug & play sensor technology. They are capable of accepting more than 100 smart gas sensors. Its non-intrusive calibration helps customers to calibrate the transmitters in hazardous area without opening the transmitter thus reducing the down time for calibration. Alternatively the smart gas sensors can be plugged out and calibrated in the lab and can be put back on the KwikSense transmitters.

KwikSense Smart Digital Gas Transmitter

KwikSense series digital gas transmitter is a field mountable device suitable for the detection and continuous monitoring of hazardous gases at industrial locations. It provides an RS-485 MODBUS-RTU digital output signal that can be connected to any suitable control system viz. Uniphos controller, DCS, PLC, etc. It also provides an industry standard 4-20 mA analog output. The KwikSense is available for a large number of toxic and flammable gases viz. CO, H2S, SO2, Cl2, NH3, HCN, HCl, NO2, CH4 (%LEL), etc.

Detector Tube Technology

Chemical detector tubes from different manufacturers work on the same principle and they use similar or same sensing chemicals for detecting the target gas concentration. However the physical dimensions of the tubes and the pump design-draw the required 100 ml of sample air varies from manufacturer-manufacturer.
With our newly introduced KwikDraw Tubes based on MSA Detector Tubes Technology which we acquired recently and Uniphos Detector Tubes which we already have since 1996, we have detector tubes matching tubes from any manufacturers across the world.

Uniphos Gas Detector Tube

More than 200 different UNIPHOS Gas Detection Tubes are available-accurately make spot measurements for over 500 gases and vapours.
The short-term UNIPHOS Gas Detection Tubes are used with the ASP-40 Air Sampling Pump.
Gas detector tubes provide a simple measurement technique-detect toxic gas concentration in air samples. The tubes are pre-calibrated and take only a few minutes-complete sampling. The concentration is read directly from the length of color stain.

KwikDraw Tubes

The combination of KWIK-DRAW detector tubes and pumps offers a quick yet precise measuring system to detect hazardous gases and vapours. The filling material in detector tubes is calibrated and adjusted to the required test gas and will change colour if this gas is present. The length of this discoloration indicates the concentration of the hazardous gas or vapour and can be measured by a printed scale on most of the tubes.

Uniphos Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS)

The Uniphos CEMS is an online analyser for measuring concentration of various toxic gases in industrial process/ boiler stack. Being capable of Auto /remote calibration with digital communication, it provides a complete solution for stack monitoring.

Uniphos CEMS are available based on different technologies depending upon the suitability and users requirement:

Chemiluminescence Based NOx Stack Gas Analyzer

Chemiluminescence has long been recognized as the best practical analytical method for NOx detection at parts per billion level and with little or no interference from other pollutant gases. When nitric oxide reacts with ozone, nitrogen dioxide in the excited state is produced. These excited molecules return to ground state by emitting light in the region 600-2800nm which is measured using a Photomultiplier tube. The amount of light produced is proportional to the amount of nitric oxide in the sample. Hence the concentration of NO can be determined very accurately.

Measuring range:0-100 / 0- 1000 / 0-2000 ppm

Resolution:1 ppm

Fluorescence Based SO2Stack Gas Analyzer

The Uniphos SO2analyzer is based on UV fluorescence technique, which utilizes measurement of SO2fluorescence typically in the range of 240-420 nm resulting from the optical excitation of SO2molecules. The fluorescence intensity is related to SO2concentration. Suitable techniques are adopted to remove interference from moisture and hydrocarbons to make the analyzer highly specific for SO2detection.

Uniphos portable single gas oxygen / carbon dioxide or combined oxygen and carbon dioxide analyser is an ideal instrument for checking modified atmosphere in food packages of any shape and size.

Online Dust Analyzer

An optical instrument designed to measure the concentration of dust or particulate matter suspended in the exhaust gas passing through a duct, stack, or flue; typically the exhaust gas from an industrial combustion process or air filtration system.
Online Dust Analyzer uses the innovative Dynamic Detection Principle (DDP) which measures fluctuations in the intensity of a light beam, using a folded beam Transceiver /Reflector arrangement. Increased particulate density in the stack causes the scattered light intensity to increase. When calibrated against reference standards, the intensity of this signal relates directly to the particulate concentration in the stack, and this can be used to display as a reading in mg/m.

The analyzer comes with sample conditioning system incorporating dust filters / scrubbers for zero air generation, etc. With a purge system, the instrument can be programmed to periodically purge the sampling probe at required intervals. An inbuilt pump brings the sample from stack to the analyzer. The analyzer also provides Auto/ Remote calibration facility when connected to standard gas cylinder through a calibrator. Modern integrated circuits incorporated in this product provide all required annunciations and data communication to make the analyzer fail safe and user friendly.

NDIR Based Analyzer

Uniphos NDIR based CEMS are PLC based rugged and reliable system for measuring concentration of various gases from stacks. Non Dispersive Infra-Red technique is highly specific as it chooses gas specific infrared absorption wave length of the target gas by cutting off all other wave lengths. This technique is cost effective and reliable for measurement of gas concentration in parts per million range.
