These files are used for sharpening roundhooded chain saw teeth. They have a safepoint and a special tooth construction . This gives these files crisp cutting action. They are also supplied in double cut in the 8" size.  

Mill Regular Files and Mill Files are almost similar except that they have 1 or 2 round edge. The round edges have definite advantages. They prevent the files from causing sharp corners or edges in the gullets of circular crosscut saws.
