Nanovea Mechanical Testers provide unmatched multi-function Nano, Micro and Macro modules on a single platform. Each module includes indentation, scratch and wear tester modes providing the widest range of testing available on a single module. The modules use independent force & depth sensors to obtain depth vs load curves during indentation; plastic and elastic deformation during scratch; and friction coefficient and wear rate during linear or rotational wear testing. Additionally, force feedback loops ensure quick and accurate load control during testing. It is the ideal solution for determining the full range of mechanical properties of (soft or hard, thin or thick) coatings, substrates and particles. Applications range from low loads to measure hardness and elastic modulus of biomaterials to high loads required to test the fracture toughness of protective glass. Both the Platform and Compact Base have been designed to be user friendly and versatile to allow a complete range of testing. In addition to a powerful microscope, several other optical imaging solutions are available including a 3D non-contact profiler and an AFM for 3D imaging. Model Q150R Automatic Rockwell Tester from Qness GmbH is the latest model with many advanced featured that gives absolute precise hardness testing. Its electronic controlled load allow the entire Rockwell scales covered from standard Rockwell, Superficial Rockwell to plastic testing as per ASTM E-18, DIN EN ISO 6508 and DIN EN ISO 2039.

The Micro IRHD System provides hardness readings of elastomers according to Micro IHRD. Recommended specimen thickness is 1 to 5 mm and it complies with international standards such as DIN ISO 48, ISO 45 and ASTM D 1415. This system is supplied with IRHD and Shore A system or you can independently by Shore A or D Durometer with Stand. It can be interfaced to a PC for a complete test report as per ISO or DIN standard. It has electronic identification of 4 inserts and data transmission with a digital measuring system, motor for automatic up and down movement of the weight. It also has 2 handwheels and clamp lever for locking. The software works under MS-Windows and offers unique features. The hardness value, graph, hysteresis, statistics, test report are only a few features of this software. An ASCII-output file is provided. All data are transmitted to the IRHD Controller, which is connected to the RS 232 interface of the computer.
