Our washed 1010 punchings can be used as; a melting base for iron, low alloy steels and stainless steels, a free flowing coolant, and cover. This material is segregated according to grade, size, and density. Our large inventory allows us to offer form, sizing, and chemistry options to meet your melting requirements. The high density and cleanliness of our material reduces smoke and allows for fewer inclusions and less porosity, and our washing and drying process ensures material is free of all contamination. Allied Metals guarantees product chemistry to our customers specifications. AISI 10061010 (EN DIN C6C10) and 10181020 (EN DIN C15C20) are also available upon request.
