Graduated Calibration Cylinders

  • Calibration Columns are installed on the suction side of the metering pump and are isolated with two Clear tube for easy GPH reading
  • Sealed top Sealed top
  • Quick-off top for cleaning (optional) Quick-off top for cleaning (optional)
Calibration Columns are installed on the suction side of the metering pump and are isolated with two valves installed with the cylinder. The top of the cylinder is vented back to the supply tank or drain. The calibration cylinder is filled to the top mark then the valve from the tank is closed. Turning on the metering pump will draw down the liquid providing a simple means to verify the accuracy of the pump flow rate. USGPH (Gallons Per Hour) and ML are shown on the cylinder. Blacoh SENTINEL Calibration Columns are critical to accurate determination of your system flow rate, either at start-up or following maintenance. They are offered in clear PVC or Borosilicate glass. Max cylinder pressure is 15psi.

SENTINEL Diaphragm Protect Pumping Systems

  • Reliability and low cost Compact size for OEM applications
  • Adjustable from 10 to 250 psi Adjustable from 10 to 250 psi
  • Adjustable from 10 to 250 psi Vulcanized PTFE/EPDM diaphragm
  • Full range of chemically resistant wetted materials Sizes from ¼” to 4” depending on model
Diaphragm pressure relief valves are designed to protect pumping systems from over pressure damage caused by defective equipment or blockage in the pump system line. Robust construction ensures reliability in the rigorous service of municipal and industrial applications.Diaphragm pressure relief valves operate when the pressure in the pumping system exceeds the preset pressure of the valve. The diaphragm is held against the valve seat by an internal spring. When the preset pressure is exceeded the diaphragm is forced up and the system fluid flows out the relief port, back to the system fluid tank or to the suction side of the pump. The valves are pre-set at 50 psi, however they are field adjustable from 10 to 150 psi, (optional 350 psi) via the adjustment screw. The relief valve should be set approximately 15 psi higher than the system pressure. Installation should be made as close to the pump as possible, without any valves or accessories between the relief valve and the pump. Consult your pump manufacturer for recommendations.

Blacoh Sentinel Diaphragm Seals

  • Protect gauges and other system instrumentation from process fluid contamination and corrosion Accurately transfer process pressure without direct contact with process fluids
  • Prevent erratic surges and clogging due to solids in process fluids Reduce costs by replacing expensive gauges with low-cost utility gauges
  • Ensure accuracy and reliability of pressure instrumentation when working with corrosive or solids-la Pressure ranges up to 1, 000 psi (68.9 bar)
  • auge accuracy of +/- 2% or better full deflection FNPT, Socket Weld and Flange inlet sizes
  • Available with and without gauges Body materials: CPVC, PVC, Polypropylene, PVDF, 316L Stainless Steel and Alloy 20
Without proper protection, process fluids regularly contaminate and damage in-line system instrumentation. The strength and durability of SENTINEL diaphragm seals isolate and protect all forms of system instrumentation from the hazards of corrosive process fluids.Diaphragm Seals, also referred to as gauge guards', employ a chemically resistant diaphragm to effectively isolate process fluids from gauges and other system instrumentation. The durable diaphragm allows SENTINEL to accurately transfer process fluid without direct contact with hazardous or corrosive process fluids. Our SENTINEL Diaphragm Seals are easily installed, come in a variety of chemically resistant materials, and work in both pressure and vacuum conditions.

Fully Pneumatic SPILLSTOP System

  • Compatible with all air operated diaphragm pumps from 1/4" (6.35mm) to 4” (101.6mm) Attaches directly to air operated diaphragm pump exhaust
  • Fully pneumatic – no batteries or electronics required Optional warning alarm and backup pump switchover
  • Wide range of standard and ATEX certified models in stock – custom models on request A 3, 000 gallon spill was prevented after SPILLSTOP units were installed by a major paint manufacturer on all AODD pumps in their transfer facility.
  • SPILLSTOP prevented multiple spills when pump diaphragms ruptured at a US chemical plant, savings $2 Polypropylene
  • Pneumatic whistle to sound warning alarm Pneumatic-to-electric switch to power warning light or control backup pump switchover
The fully pneumatic SPILLSTOP system safely captures leaked product and automatically shuts down failed pumps to eliminate costly product loss and prevent hazardous spills. Optional warning alarm and backup pump switchover further minimize system downtime for maximum productivity. Stop the spill before it happens.

CHECK VALVES 316 Stainless Steel Check Valves

  • Compact length Spring-loaded 2 or 10 PSI cracking pressure
  • Full range of sizes ¼” to 1” MNPT or BSP Contact Blacoh for custom valve inquiries
  • All 316 stainless steel construction (Hastelloy C and Alloy 20 available special order) Temperatures -15° to +400°F
  • Pressures to 2,500 PSI Usable on metering pumps
  • Usable as injection line check valves Easily disassembled for inspection or cleaning
By preventing reverse flow, check valves can be used as one-way valves, injection valves, or to prevent backflow. Check valves allow flow in one direction, automatically prevent back flow when process fluid in the line reverses direction, and will work even if the system loses air or electricity. Installed in the process pipe, check valves are flow sensitive and rely on the line fluid to open and close. The internal ball or poppet functions as a positive shutoff to ensure process fluid does not go back up the line. Check valves can be installed vertically or horizontally. Robust construction ensures reliability in the rigorous service of municipal and industrial applications.
