Hang tags are produced by either flexographic or offset printing. They may be supplied as fanfolded, continuous sheets and punched for pinfeeding; fanfolded without pinfeeds; perforated sheets; die cut shapes on rolls; or as individual tags. All have an attacher hole punched to fasten to garments, and may be blank, tinted, printed with register marks for thermal printers, or fully printed. They may be made from coated or uncoated stock, with or without a UV varnish coating, and in various weights or thickness.
