The LiveU Xtender integrated antenna solution increases network reception, providing additional resiliency for live video transmission in extreme scenarios such as heavily crowded areas. The Xtender offers broadcasters the flexibility to use cellular connectivity as part of their existing SNGENG trucks, bonding cellular and satellite connections for ultimate live video performance, or to remotely connect to LiveU's backpack and handheld uplink units. VEHICLE MOUNTED The LiveU Xtender dramatically improves cellular reception, bandwidth, resiliency and latency in every scenario. Based on LiveU’s fourth-generation bonded uplink technology, the integrated solution offers broadcasters the flexibility to use cellular connectivity as part of their existing SNG and ENG trucks, bonding cellular and satellite connections for the ultimate live video performance. Combining LiveU’s LU700 encoder with LiveU’s powerful Xtender antenna, the solution adds six 3G4G LTE network connections and is optimized for all emerging 4G LTE implementations worldwide. IMG 4243 TRIPOD-MOUNTED The tripod-mounted Xtender antenna can also be connected to LiveU’s other backpack and handheld units, offering even greater resiliency, performance and flexibility in crowded demonstrations, sports stadiums and other extreme scenarios. With extended wireless connectivity (with optional wireless kit), the Xtender can be situated up to 1, 000 feet300 meters away from the uplink unit, offering far more than a regular cellular antenna.

With a user-friendly interface, the LU-Lite software is easy to use and highly flexible, supporting any camera input provided by your hardware. The LU2000 Bonded Video Transceiver unit is used to receive, reconstruct and playout any bonded video stream sent by LiveU’s range of field units, including the LU200, LU400, LU500, LU-Smart and LU-Lite. The LU2000 can also be used as a transmission node when configuring LiveU’s MultiPoint transmission service. MULTIPLE CONFIGURATIONS The LU2000 comes in a range of configurations, from hardware-hosted MMH software, to cloud server solutions, and uses LiveU Reliable Transport (LRT), which includes patented Dynamic Adaptive Bitrate control and Forward Error Correction, allowing it to optimize live video delivery to different classes of receiver, dynamically adjusting bitrate and quality for the best viewer experience at any time.
