Our Round Base Magnet assemblies, also known as Round Cup Magnets, RB Magnets or Magnetic Cup Assemblies, are plated with a nickel finish. They are made with either neodymium or ceramic magnets, which are combined with steel cups. With this type of design, the magnetic holding force is multiplied many- fold, to provide a holding magnet assembly that is significantly stronger than an individual magnet, and for an economical price! Constructed of a steel cup with a ring magnet assembled inside, the round magnetic cups have a mounting hole provided for easy attachment. Available with ceramic or neodymium magnets built inside the cup. The ceramic magnet types are designed so that the magnets have an inside diameter which is larger than the diameter of the hole in the cup. The Neodymium magnet types have a countersink, so theres room for a screw head for mounting purposes.RB magnets are commonly used for consumer & industrial applications that require extremely strong magnets.
