Melmat Inc. offers a complete line of fabricated cases, which can be made to any desired size and for all applications. From light weight polyethylene to heavy duty ATA300 style containers (rated from a minimum of 100 trips via truck or plane). Cushion interiors and special features such as wheels and heavy duty materials are offered.

MELMAT offers these "Easy Order" cases to fit most of your heavy duty case needs with lightning fast delivery time. These cases are formed of Ultra light Modular Weight Polyethylene, resistant to oils., fuels, solvents and acids. These cases can also withstand temperatures ranging from -80 degrees fahrenhiet to +185 degrees fahrenhiet. These cases have the strength to absorb tremendous impact without cracking or permanently denting. In addition, all the parallel rib and no-rib cases are fitted with corrosion resistant hardware and heavy duty aluminum valances. You can always design your own case. Now Melmat, Inc. is fabricating and converting corrugated plastic sheet. Lightweight, yet strong, a great combination for your next container or packaging requirement. Corrugated Plastic is a reusable material that is attractive, durable and cost effective. In addition to stockstandard products, we welcome design challenges to help you create a unique item. Corrugated plastic is an extruded material similar in appearance to corrugated paper. Both upper and lower surfaces are supported by fluted ribs. Several thicknesses are available, from light pliable sheet to heavy duty stiff "boards". The material is available in polypropylene. Melmat, Inc. stocks only polypropylene because it is preferred for most applications. Thicknesses available are from 2mm to 10mm. The stock material is treated for UV resistance; flame retardant, anti-static and conductive sheet are available. The sheet is corona treated, which provides an excellent surface for screen printing and other decoration methods. Fluted plastic sheet offers several advantages over corrugated paper, solid plastic sheet, and other sheet materials. It is light weight, yet tough and abrasion resistant. Polypropylene has excellent chemical resistance and is unaffected by water. Melmat, Inc. offers the converting methods of die cutting, scoring and ultra-sonic welding. There are many standard products made from fluted plastic, but uses are limited only by the imagination of the designer.
