Micromold's FLUOR-O-FLO NPT Threaded Piping System is well suited for low pressure laboratory and process industry applications demanding:Extreme corrosion resistanceHigh purityHigh temperature capability It is generally less expensive than PTFE lined piping systems, and has several application advantages over lined piping systems: it is easier to cut to length and install; it is easier to reuse; and it is available in small pipe sizes. Compared to systems made of nickel alloys, such as stainless steel or Hastelloy, or of exotic metals, such as tantalum or zirconium, the FLUOR-O-FLO system is often a more cost effective solution to severe corrosion problems. All pipe and fittings are solid PTFE. To maximize creep resistance, FNPT fittings are made from special virgin PTFE: Micromold's MICROFLON. Under pressure, male NPT fittings creep slightly toward the MICROFLON low-creep female NPT fittings, resulting in a system that self adjusts to prevent leaks. Available in Schedule 80 pipe sizes from 18" through 4". Most popular size fittings are in stock and can be shipped immediately.

Our FLUOR-O-FLO XPress PTFE Clamp-Joint Piping System* is an ideal solution to drainage and other low pressure systems for difficult-to-handle fluids, providing:SafetyFlexibilityExtreme corrosion resistanceThe system includes pipe and fittings that are connected using coupling-clamps uniquely designed for PTFE joints*. They incorporate multiple o-ring seals designed to take advantage of the natural deformation (creep) of PTFE, eliminating the need to retighten joints. The joints are strong, reliable and leak tight. The system is ideally suited for drainage applications in which highly agressive fluids must be handled. These especially include laboratories in the pharmaceutical industry in which tough solvents and sometimes unpredicted fluid mixtures must be drained. Applications also include drain lines for concentrated acids and alkalis. The system is also well suited to other low-pressure process industry applications where the corrosion resistance and purity of PTFE are desirable.
