All of the benefits of rigid PTFE without creep and cold flow issues. Made of 100% virgin material dimensionally stable with a temperature range of -450F to 600F, it is soft and conformable to real world flange faces, and compresses into a very tough long lasting seal. Expanded PTFE resists many chemicals in the ph range of 0 to 14. Gaskets withstand vacuum to 3, 000 psi, has a low .02 coefficient of friction (like wet ice), is FDA compliant, and will not harden or age in storage. May be used with FRP, porcelain, plastic, and glass- lined pipes. Available in .116", 18", and 14" and comes in 36" 48", & 60" sheet sizes.
