POBCO Scraper Blades Our Scraper Blades are made from a variety of plastic materials such as Acetal, UHMW and Urethane. The Blades are standard or custom in design and used to scrape excess material off of Rollers, Belting or other surfaces. They come in any desired profile in a variety of widths and lengths. Acetal is often used when a rigid food-grade plastic is necessary. For Belts with belt lacing a dual durometer Urethane is often used. The flexing action of the softer urethane contact edge allows belt lacing to pass under the scraper without joint stress. Hence damage to the belting surface is prevented or minimized.
