Especially harsh operating environments sometimes necessitate an extra level of protection for chain wheels. Many chain wheels are used in the petrochemical industry, where they are exposed to chemicals, extreme temperature or humidity. In such cases, we offer stainless steel chain wheels to extend the life of the product in corrosive environments. Stainless steel is also ideal for high moisture environments (such as offshore or marine) where corrosion resistance is important. Our entire CL Series line of chain wheels is available in stainless steel. All components of the chain wheel are constructed of 316 stainless steel.

Our CL line of chain wheels is also available in Aluminum, for those situations where a light weight option is needed. The lighter weight aluminum will put less strain on valve stems. All Aluminum chain wheels are sold with stainless steel hardware kits.
