It has three insulators and isoperated by rotation of the outboard insulatoron the hinge end. The switch is supplied with acomplete operating mechanism including swinghandle, vertical operating pipe, outboard bearing, interphase pipe, position indicator and all connectingfittings. Gear and motor operators are available asoptions. The AVT meets applicable industrystandards for electrical and mechanical performance.Applications include disconnecting, isolating orbypassing equipment such as transformers orbreakers, and sectionalizing bus and line.
