World Centric is happy to offer our own line of compostable bags made from a mixture of synthetic and starch based plastics. Our bags are BPI Certified and conform to ASTM D6400 standards. The compostable bags are also printed with soy based ink. Currently, all compostable trash bags in the market are made from a mixture of synthetic and starch based plastics. The synthetic content usually ranges from 55% to 100% . The synthetic polymer content is necessary to give the bag its elasticity, stretchability and strength.
