APPLICATION OF GRAMICID IN FOODS & BEVERAGES INDUSTRY FLOOR &WALLS Mopping of floors & walls @ 0.5% to 1% concentration. DISINFECTION OF TANKS, PIPELINES, ETC. Gramicid can be used for disinfecting the tanks, manufacturing equipments, pipelines and containers @ 0.5% to 1% concentration, contact time 2 to 5 min. DISINFECTIING BOTTLES, CLOSURES, CAPS, CRATES, ETC. Use0.1% to 0.2% concentration of Gramicid. DISINFECTION OF TRANSPORT CONTAINERS/VEHICLES Use Gramicid at 0.5 % concentration. WASHING FRUITS AND VEGETABLES Use Gramicid at 200 ppm to 500 ppm concentration. WATER DISINFECTION Gramicid when added to raw water @ 10ppm to 18ppm makes water disinfected. The Gramicid treated water should then be passed through R.O. Plant or D. M. Plant. Neutralisation of Gramicid should be done by SMBS before water reaching R.O. membranes. DRAINAGE DISINFECTION Can be done by using Gramicid at 1% to 2% concentration. FILTER DISINFECTION Filters of R. O. Plants, D.M. Plants, Sand & Cartridge filters, etc. can be disinfected @ 200ppm to 500ppm concentration of Gramicid. RUBBER & PLASTIC SLIPPERS Use 1 % concentration of Gramicid. Contact time: 30 minutes
