Universal 12V Car Electronic Relay Tester with LED Indicator

Quickly test suspect relays with this automotive 4 and 5 pin relay tester that powers via the

12v battery. If testing a 4 pin relay, set the selector to 4 Pin and hit test.

The Tester will open and close the relay 10 times testing for time to contacts and

consistency of the relay. The testing unit will either display Green for pass or Red for fail.

It is a quick go/no-go tester relay that indicates the general health and functioning

of the most common automotive relays

The tester will check for the proper functioning of the relay contacts by connecting

the car battery (11V--15V) to the relay coil

The tester will watch the pin configuration, the time to contact closure and opening,

consistency of the relay during each test session, the tester will light the green LED

if all passed during the test session, if not light the red LED

How to Use:

Connect the power leads to the car battery (black alligator clip to the negative

terminal, red alligator clip to the positive terminal)

The tester is powered up when the LED illuminates in RED

Check the relay before plugging it into the tester. If it's a 4-pin relay, select "4 pin"

on the tester. If it's a 5-pin relay, select "5 pin" on the tester

Plug the relay into one of the three receptacles

Press the "TEST" button

The tester will check the pin configuration of the unknown relay

The tester will open and close the relay 10 times for testing the time to contact

closure and opening if the pin configuration of the relay is right

The tester will light the RED LED immediately if the time is overtime

The tester will check the consistency of the relay after testing the time to contact

closure and opening ten times

The tester will light the GREEN LED if the test passed, if not light the RED LED

Disconnect power leads from the car battery and removes the relay from the tester

The car battery must be a 12V battery, and the voltage of the battery is between 11V-

15V
