The specimen after mounting must be carefully ground and polished before can be examined under the microscope. The disc polishing gives the specimen scratch free mirror like finish without any deformation. Both single or double wheel versions are available with variable rotating speeds. This allows the setting of the optimum speed for each individual preparation process.
