Vamva Transformers & Control

We have urbanized a high-tech infrastructural base that spreads over a large area which comprises production, procurement, quality-control, research & development, warehousing & packaging unit and many more. Our infrastructure supports us in gathering bulk-scale and urgent requirements of patrons in a proficient manner.

All Transformers and Reactors are tested for the following tests as per relevant IS/IEC: 60076, OIL Cooled transformer IS 2026/1977, Air Cooled transformer: IS11171/985. Air cooled transformer (upto 5 kva): IS6297, Reactor: IS5553.

The routine tests are performed on all the products and type tests on request of customers.

The routine tests for transformer are:

IR test
Separate square voltage with stand test
Winding Resistance measurement
Radio Party
Vector Group Confirmation
Induced over Voltage Test
No Load Current
No Load Loss Measurement
Load Loss Measurement
Over Voltage excitation characteristic on request
The temperature RISE test
SHORT Circuit with Stand Capacity test
Lighting Impulse voltage with stand test and temperature RISE test is performed In House Test at National Test Hose.


For Reactors the Routine test conducted at our works are:-

IR Test
MV Test
Window Resistance Test
Total Loss Measurement
Inductance Measurement by V-1 method

Also the over current test as per our standard to check and audible noise level. The Temperature rise test as a type test also can be conducted at our works upto 2000 A.

Our test lab is fully equipped with the latest instruments, Duly calibrated, along with necessary intermediates, the complete unit is suitable to test transformers upto 36 kv/5000 kva and current injection upto 2000 a with 3 phase well balanced square (i.e all phases shall have the equal voltage) The unit is built measurement facility of all kind of transformers and reactors. the variable DC power supply us, that can be used for measurement of contact resistance, heat run test of DC Reactors etc.
