Ivermectinis used in the treatment of certain worm infections. It is used to treat river blindness (onchocerciasis) and a certain type of diarrhea (strongyloidiasis). It may also be used for some other kinds of worm infections.

Fipronil was discovered in 1987 and was developed initially for use in pest control in agriculture and public health. In dogs and cats, fipronil is available as a high-volume spray or a low-volume spot-on, with activity against ticks, fleas and ear mites. Hair shed from dogs for up to 2 weeks after topical treatment retains sufficient fipronil to kill dust mites (Dermatophagoidesspp) coming in contact.

This medication is an anti-fungal agent, prescribed for jock itch, athletes foot and other infections. It interferes with the formation of the fungal cell membrane and kills fungi.

How does Ketoconazole work:

Ketoconazole works to harm the yeast and fight the infection. It may lower testosterone levels.

How should Ketoconazole be used:

It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with or without food. It also comes as a cream to apply topically. The oral dose range is 200-400 mg daily. Topical formulations are administered over affected areas once or twice daily.

Common side effects of Ketoconazole :

Belly pain. Upset stomach or throwing up. Many small meals, good mouth care, sucking hard, sugar-free candy, or chewing sugar-free gum may help. Loose stools (diarrhea). Harm to the liver may rarely happen.

How it Works:

Kick TAPE- CAT''''s active ingredients are praziquantel & pyrantel pamoate, . Praziquantel works by damaging the parasite''''s skin internally, so the parasite disintegrates and is removed by the pet''''s immune system. Pyrantel pamoate is active against hookworms and ascarids and acts as a blocking agent, causing paralysis. This results in the hookworm losing its grip in the intestinal wall and is removed from the pet''''s system by natural process.

How to use :

The recommended dose rates are 57.5 mg/kg Pyrantel Pamoate and 5 mg/kg Praziquantel. This is equivalent to 1 tablet per 4 kg (9 Ibs) bodyweight.

The tablet should be given directly but if necessary can be disguised in food.

Kick tape Tablets may be given directly by mouth or offered in small amount of food.

Do not withhold food from the cat prior to or after treatment. The tablets are scored into halves to enables a range of weights to be treated.

how should carodyl be given?

you should give your dog carodyl 75 chewable tablets by mouth and with food. the recommended dose is 2-4mg per kg body weight (2.2lb) per day given in two equally divided doses. the same dose may be reduced to once daily after 7 days, depending on your dogs response and your veterinarians recommendation. you should see signs of improvement within a few days.
