Sparfloxacin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat a variety of lung infections. It should be avoided if you are allergic to the class of antibiotics called fluoroquinolones. Use with caution in the elderly population as it increases the risk of Tendinitis and tendon rupture.
Clarithromycin is a bactericidal antibiotic which is used in the treatment of infections caused by the bacteria. It is used with other medications in the treatment of helicobacter pylori infections. It is not recommended in the patients who are allergic to macrolides.
