The company is a major Importer, Exporter & Supplier of Pistachio Nuts. The Pistachio Nut is the fruit of a treelike plant (scientific name of Pistacia Vera) that grows in clusters. The kernel is yellowish green and covered by a peel firmly adhered thereto. The enlarged Pistachio Nut pushes on the surrounding hard beige shell to cause a natural split, while the hull, which serves as a protective cover for the shell, usually remains intact. The Pistachio Tree blooms during April and the kernel develops during the month of July. Pistachio usually ripens in 2nd half of September and once harvested, the Pistachio Nuts are immediately transported to the plant for processing (hulling, drying and sorting). PackingWe supply Pistachio Nuts in shell and kernel in bulk with the following packing :

  • Pistachio in shell, in double-layer polypropylene bags of 50 kg. N.W.
  • Kernel, in cartons of 10 kg and or 12.5 kg N.W.

Quality Checking : Before exporting Pistachio Nuts and kernels, we ensure that the range undergoes precise physical and microbiological tests in compliance with the international standards by health authorities of the region. Sizing Pistachio Nuts are calibrated by the number of pistachios in a weight unit of one avoirdupois ounce (28.3495 gr.) as under :

Kernel Species

  • Blanched Pistachio Kernels : Also known as Green Kernels, with the immature kernels containing a large amount of chlorophyll pigments â which yield the intense green color. It is mainly used in chocolate, pastry, ice cream and sausage industries. The density of green color of the kernel determines the grade of the kernel as follows :
    • Grade S : dense dark green
    • Grade A : dark green
    • Grade B : light green
    • Grade C : very light green
    • Grade P : split and halved
  • Unblanched Unripe Pistachio Kernel : This type is the same as above-mentioned kernel; however, it does not undergo the process for removing the peel. It is mainly used in the pastries and ice cream industries.
  • Normal Pistachio Kernel : This type is obtained from ripped pistachios.
