We have mastered our profession and have deep understanding of various processes which are engaged in extraction of these minerals and also the global vermiculite market as well. All these minerals are extracted on the basis of geographical location, climatic and soil conditions. The vermiculite is mined and refined using a variety of techniques and supplied commercially in a variety of ranges of particle size grades of vermiculite concentrate. Our experts are trained in the state of the art mining methods using all sorts of machineries and equipments and they also devote their valuable time in guiding the team to undertake quality quarrying process. Everyone working at the quarry is competent for the work they do. They are properly trained and have the experience and knowledge to work safely. Some need formal qualification, eg explosives supervisors, geotechnical specialists. In addition, training is provided for people taking on new responsibilities or using new equipment or systems of work. What is Vermiculite? Vermiculite is a member of phyllosilicate or sheet silicate group of minerals. It has remarkable ability to expand to many times of its original volume when heated up - a property known as exfoliation. The term exfoliation is used to describe the heat expansion of the vermiculite, which occurs at right angles to the strong basal cleavage. The name "vermiculite" is derived from the Latin word "vermicularis" (worm-like) on account of the elongate, curved and twisted columns produced when the larger crystals are suddenly heated to high temperatures which releases the interlayer crystalline water. We also possess well connected warehouses, which empowers us to cater various needs of our clients in any part of globe in the shortest time-period. Our production capacity is around 10 thousand tons per annum and we are planning to double the capacity in coming years. Quality Assurance We are a quality centric organization and focus on manufacturing processes in micro level in order to ensure sustainable premium quality minerals. We have our own carefully drawn in-house standards to help our team to take care of end-to-end quality requirements in every facet of operation. Quarried minerals are subjected to checks and tests on various parameters like hardness, bulk density, expansion aspects, properties and chemical compositions, before taken into further processing. Apart from our own in-house laboratory, we also have tie-up with SGS accredited laboratories for specialized checking when needed.
