A revolution in wound closure sterile bio - adhesiveanti-septic actionsafe and precisequick and easyless scaringbio curar is n - butyl 2 - cyanoacrylate and is a medical grade bio-adhesive.Cyanoacrylates are derivatives of acrylic acid. It is liquid in its monomer form and polymerises quickly as itcomes into contact with water or body moisture.The polymeric matter forms a thin layer on the skin which holds the skin edges together tightly.This property enables the use of bio curar in the closure of incisional as well as post-traumatic wounds. Bio-compatible, non-toxic, haemostatic and bacteriostatic bioadhesivequick & easy, less scaring, anti-septic action and safe & precisedoes not get absorbed in blood and does not react to tissuebio curar polymerizes when exposed to water or water-containingsubstances like human tissue.Reduces the risk of post surgical infection and traumabiodegradable and biocompatible. Directions for use 1. Remove bio curar package from storage (below 15 c not to befreezed) and bring to room temperature. Remove the ampoulefrom the blister.2. Clean the oozing blood and dry the wound area as fast as possible.3. Take the bio curar ampoule and snap the tip at the marked areaholding it vertically with both the hands.4. Approximate the wound edges precisely. Forceps can be used tohold the edges of the skin in case of larger wounds.5. Apply a thin layer of bio curar throughout the approximatedwound and allow it to dry for about 2 minutes.
