Rubber Hose: A hose is a flexible hollow tube designed to carry fluids from one location to another. Hoses are also sometimes called pipes (the word pipe usually refers to a rigid tube, whereas a hose is usually a flexible one), or more generally tubing. The shape of a hose is usually cylindrical (having a circular cross section).

Hose design is based on a combination of application and performance. Common factors are size, pressure rating, weight, length, straight hose or coilhose, and chemical compatibility. Hoses are made from one or a combination of many different materials. To achieve a better pressure resistance, hoses are reinforced with fibers or fabric material.

Hoses are manufactured from over 15 polymers including:  Nitrile / Buna-N (NBR), Fluorocarbon (Viton®, Fluorocarbon (FKM), Silicone (VMQ), Fluorosilicone (FVMQ), Polyurethane (AU/EU), Natural Rubber (NR), Ethylene Propylene (EPDM), Hydrogenated Nitrile Rubber (HNBR), Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR), Chloroprene (Neoprene®), etc. Most commonly used in automobile sector, chemical and water treatment plants, Irrigation sector, Pharmaceutical and food processing industry, etc.
