The Vision 3D is a robust stereo vision sensor that stands out from the rest due to its versatile fields of application. It ensures economically efficient people counting and customer tracking. The large evaluation range usually renders only one device per tracking point. The new sensor provides high-precision tracking: The counting is bi-directional and can also be operated from an oblique perspective. Up to five counting lines inside and outside the location are possible. Therefore the conversion- and capture-rates can be analysed. By using UMTS and WLAN, the VC-3D Sensor offers flexible methods for data transmission. The Power over Ethernet technology (PoE) enables installation at points with no power supply.
