Mrs. Tuyen represents the third generation of a Vietnamese family with more than a century of tradition in handicrafts. Growing up surrounded by artisan communities, she developed a deep appreciation for natural materials such as bamboo, rattan, seagrass, and water hyacinth, as well as for the craftsmanship passed down through generations. These early experiences shaped her understanding that traditional crafts are not only products, but also cultural heritage and livelihoods for many rural families. After gaining valuable experience working for an international company, Mrs. Tuyen returned home with a clear purpose: to continue her family’s legacy while bringing Vietnamese craftsmanship to the global market. She founded Keico Limited Company in Hanoi with the vision of combining traditional techniques with contemporary design and international quality standards. Today, Keico creates eco-friendly home décor made from natural materials, designed for modern living while respecting the environment. By working closely with artisan communities, the company helps preserve traditional weaving skills and supports sustainable production practices. Beyond building a business, Mrs. Tuyen is deeply committed to empowering rural women artisans. Many of them possess remarkable craftsmanship but have limited access to market information and global opportunities. Through Keico, she works to connect these women with international partners and create stable, long-term orders that provide reliable income. With greater economic independence, these women can support their families, invest in their children’s education, and participate more confidently in decisions within their households and communities.
