Our Products
Our offered Product range includes Piston Actuated Valve, Ball Float Steam Traps, Thermodynamic Steam Trap, Piston Valve and Steam Trap.
Valve Type PAV - In normal condition, 'A' port is closed and 'AB' port is connected to 'B' or 'B' port is connected to 'AB' port. On receiving pilot pressure, 'A" port is connected to 'AB' or 'AB' port is connected to 'A' closing port B.
Piston Actuated Valve Type 6619E - Normally 'B' port is closed and 'A' port is connected to 'AB' or 'AB' port is connected to 'A'. On receiving signal 'A' port is closed and 'B' port is connected to 'AB' or 'AB' port connected to 'B'.
The Float Trap immediate condensate discharge out of steam systems is absolutely necessary to retain the maximum possible capacity of the heat exchanger and to minimize the danger of corrosion, water-hammering & temperature fluctuations in the process.
It is the task of Float trap controlled steam traps to discharge condensate out of steam consuming equipments but to keep the steam inside.
VOLFRAM Float trap controlled steam traps operate based on the rotary slide valve principle. These float controlled steam traps sense the density difference between vapor and condensate.
As the incoming condensate reaches the Float trap body the condensate level rises so does the Float trap. Due to the movement of the float the rotary valve is able to turn and open the outlet port and the condensate is discharged. Now as the level of condensate falls so does the Float trap and the rotary valve turns and closes the outlet port. With this type of operation the condensate is discharged continuously.
VOLFRAM controlled steam traps operate effectively even at small differential pressures. Their operation is not affected by pressure fluctuations. These traps are provided with features such as air vent and a steam / gas barrier in the form of immersion tube. The thermostatic air vent offers the added benefit of significantly increasing condensate capacity on cold start-up.
Applications: Float traps are recommended to be installed at process equipments. Sizes Available: 15 NB, 20 NB, 25 NB, 40 NB, 50 NB, 65 NB
The immediate condensate discharge out of Steam Trap systems is absolutely necessary to retain the maximum possible capacity of the heat exchanger and to minimize the danger of corrosion, water-hammering & temperature fluctuations in the process.
Volfram offer highly robust & maintenance free thermodynamic steam traps for the removal of condensate from the steam lines, headers etc.
Other Applications: Steam Trap carrying pipe lines, steam headers. Available Sizes: 15 NB, 20 NB, 25 NB.
VOLFRAM Cast Steel Piston Valves provide perfect tightness and Installation durable stability on different mediums such as steam, superheated steam, heat transfer fluid, ammonia, L.P.G., acids, alkalise, etc.
Piston valves can be provided with additional feature like:
Before attempting any maintenance of the Valve, ensure that pressure is isolated and safely vented to atmosphere. Do not assume that the system is depressurized even when a pressure gauge indicates zero.
Maintenance of Piston valve is very easy and can be done while the valve is in position & not in service. Please refer 'User Manual' for replacement of Body sealing stack set, Bonnet Sealing Ring & Gland sealing stack. Lubricate spindle regularly with Molykote M30 oil.

VOLFRAM offers Safety Valve for Steam & other media application with precise pressure release settings to avoid the mechanical damage to equipment & surroundings, injury to the operators, loss of production etc. because of the higher pressure rise.
In the event of the Control valves malfunctioning, the equipment to which it is supplying steam or any other media needs to be safeguarded from increase in pressure. This necessitates the installation of a Safety valve at each equipment.
End Connection Available : 15NB, 20NB, 25NB Screwed BSP and NPT
