An audiometer is a subjective device that is used to evaluate the hearing threshold of a person. An audiologist or other trained personnel uses an audiometer together with special audiometric testing techniques to determine the hearing threshold and to identify as well as quantify the degree of hearing loss of a person. From these results the appropriate referral for medical treatment or possible hearing aid fitting can be prescribed. With the audiometer tones of different frequencies are presented at different levels to the patients ear. The hearing threshold is that level at which the person can just hear the stimulus. An audiometer is a subjective testing device, a response from the patient is needed.
It is 5x faster. Used to program digital hearing aids.
Hi-Pro 2 is a universal hardware interface designed to program all kinds of hearing instruments.
Save time:
HI-PRO 2 saves you time in the fitting process. Programming is fast. The high-speed mode enables fitting modules to communicate with the hearing instru-ment up to five times faster than the previous HI-PRO USB version. And unlike battery-driven programmers, the HI-PRO 2 has plug-and-play USB connectivity, so its ready and working when you need it. No training required.
Streamline the fitting process:
HI-PRO 2 gives you an easy way to streamline your fitting processes. Developed in collaboration with hearing aid manufacturers, HI-PRO2 is the latest in the HI-PRO series long recognized as the industry standard for hearing instru-ment programming. HI-PRO 2 has a universal hardware interface to program all brands and types of hearing aids making hearing instrument programming fast, easy and reliable.
Boost efficiency:
One programming device covers your programming needs. HI-PRO 2 pro-grams all major hearing instruments. Sleek and discrete, HI-PRO 2 comes as a space-saving stand-alone device or as an integrated part of the audiometer, AURICAL Aud. HI-PRO 2 is also backward compatible, so it works with any hearing instrument that has been previously programmed by a HI-PRO device, regardless of version.
