Coco Disks

Discs are compressed coir pith made, especially for use in pots. Different sizes of discs are available to suit various pot sizes. Discs are also made with a hole in the middle to facilitate easy planting. Fertilized discs are made as per customer requirements. Disks are made from the coarser particles (>1mm ) which gives better substrate for plant growth.

Coco Peat Blocks

Blocks are made mainly for commercial use. It is reconstituted and used as a growing medium by green house cultivators and for potting mixes. After re-constitution it is mixed with fertilizer and other additives and packed as retail pack by manufacturers of growing medium.

Briquettes are small sized compressed coir pith mainly made for home garden markets. This is also used by bulk consumers after reconstituting with fertilizers and for mixing with other growing medium.

Coir Peat Bales

These grow bags are used in commercial green house cultivation of vegetables and flowers. A specific volume of selected coir pith blended with adequate quantity of short fiber in a compressed form is packed loosely in a UV stabilized Black and White Polythene bag. At user end suitable holes for drainage as well as planting holes are to be cut by the user and the compressed coir pith is expanded by addition of water to it. The coir pith expands fully inside the bag and maintains a rectangular shape for Grow Bag.

Coconut Husk

The coconut husk is cut in to random sized pieces, which are called coco chips. They are segregated into three sizes Small, medium and large. The coco chips can be used to replace the bark based growth medium for Orchids and in cut flower production facilities. Small size chips range from 6mm to 13mm, the medium range from 13mm to 25mm and the large range from 25mm to 50mm. By mixing this, the air filled porosity can be increased in the substrate.
