Beliefs are our brain’s way of making sense of our complicated universe and managing it. They are mental representations of how our brains expect objects to behave in our environment. They tell the brain how things should be connected to each other, the patterns that our brain expects to adapt to the world. Beliefs are models for successful learning and are also necessary for survival.

Our existence revolves around our emotions and so does our goals. Seems like an absurd equation? Let us look at a very common instance. The day you wake up cheery, you seem to feel more productive. By the end of your day, a sense of satisfaction kicks in. On the contrary, on days where nothing seems going good, things begin to look like a slump. In our daily lives, it is not just about waking up happy or sad, sometimes it’s anger and jealousy. The point here is we are regulated by our emotions which thus impact our actions.

why? what? and how? – everything about using the coaching approach in leadership. for most, the word “leadership” brings a visual association to being hedonistic, powered, ambitious, and aggressive. bringing ‘coaching’ into leadership sounds like an oxymoron. but, the deep truth is adding coaching skills to one’s leadership style would encourage more engaging conversations with the organizational tribe. this is why you see many world-class sports teams using coaching as an indispensable dynamic lever to best team work.

Goals shape us! Since we are born that is a common fed perception. But how  do  we shape our goals? As we grow, this becomes the bigger question. Often, we are found to be tempted to buy a book or learn a course  on how to achieve our goals. And sometimes, we force ourselves into a resolution or a promise of self-treatment. If you are here I am sure the path is not as easy as you imagined. Well we understand it too. The most important factor of the entire goal setting process is to assess skills and resources. Based on that one realizes the amount of work that goes into it. This calculated measure in many instances is draining, rather than inspiring.
