The variety of f1 hybrid less Water Melon Seed (triploid) watermelon (citrullus lanatus) is characterized by thick blackish green outer protective layer or rind (skin). Deep red flesh inside is juicy and very sweet. The flesh of watermelon, obtained from our Water Melon Seed, is firm and attractive with medium, molted brown seeds. Black lap is mildly diuretic, good source of beta carotene and lycopene. The average fruit weighing 5 - 7 kg and is ready for harvesting in 80-85 days of sowing.
