We are Supplier of this product. Thyristor based battery charger uses Thyristor switching principle for achieving the desired DC output. It basically consists of a transformer, a semi-conductor bridge rectifier, a filter circuit and a control circuit. The AC mains voltage is transformed to a suitable level and fed to the rectifier bridge. After being smoothened by the filter circuit, it rectifies the AC input and feeds controlled DC output to the battery and load. The power output requirement is adjusted by using phase control technique which is provided by the control circuit. The feedback signals from the output to the control circuit are used for maintaining voltage regulation and current limit.
A new innovative model uses 16-bit DSP controller (optional) for switching and control of Thyristor for achieving desired DC output. The charger output voltage, output current, battery current, and battery temperature compensation are controlled by the Digital Signal Processor. The charger output parameters can be set or adjusted through keypad-display provided on the front panel with password protection. It has communication ports for local remote monitoring of measurements and events.
