Tubes can be plain, low-finned (internal and/or external) or high-finned (integral or applied fin) with many methods for tubeside/shellside enhancement available.
Tube to tubeplate/tubesheet jointing methods include roller-expansion (with or without expansion grooves) and/or welding in addition to secondary seals such as grommets, o-rings, hydroscopic and compression seals.
