Lux meter used to measure luminance levels in an animal housing unit. Light is a very powerful element (disturbance) in a behavioral experiment and needs to be controlled in hatcheries. Not only the light - dark cycle (circadian or not) but also the "quantity" of light received by the birds need to be analyzed and shall be controlled under strict discipline to ensure best health of chicks and birds.
Digital Colony Counters are designed for quick and accurate counting of bacterial and mould colonies in petri dishes. Feature packed & easy to use, this is an indispensable bench top tool for the busy microbiologist. It is designed for rapid and accurate counting of bacterial and mould colonies. The petri dish is placed on the illuminated pad and touch the dish with the pen provided to mark each colony in turn. This causes a count to be registered on the digital display and an audible tone confirms each count made. Marking the dish with the pen avoids missing colonies or double counting. The digital count on the display cab be reset manually any time by pressing the RESET key. Optimum viewing of colonies is aided by peripheral glare-free illumination. An integral magnifying glass provides for easier counting of small colonies.

Digital Conductivity Meters are higly precise testing instruments for measurement of conductivity/TDS/Salinity of Aqueous solutions. The Conductivity and TDS are meassured five ranges. The resolution is 0.1 S/cm and 0.1 ppm respectively, in the lowest range. The cell constant is flashed on a digital display from the front panel. The instruments have the "Check" facility to calibrate the instrument. These instrument are ideal for monitoring salt content in water ans soluble salts in soils. They are extremely instruments for agriculture and soil analysis labs, swimming pools, fertilizer plants, petroleum refineries, textile plants etc.
A slotted hardboard disc, with finger hole, is pivoted on a bearing mounted which also acts as a convenient handle. The disc has twelve radial slots 50x3mm extending to its edge. Diameter of the disc is 250mm.
These are general purpose balances for students. The hangers have double hooks for specific gravity experiments, and the pans are detachable. Finished in durable black enamel with chrome plated fitting and mounted on nicely polished heavy wooden base provided with leveling screws. A third small pan with hook is supplied to use it as hydrostatic balance for Archimedes's principle. Capacity 250gm approx. with sensitivity of 25mg.
