Fork label sensors are a special type of through-beam design. The transmitter and receiver are mechanically aligned to save installation time. There are two kinds. Optic Label sensor and ultrasonic label sensor. Optical detects objects by interrupting the beam. Small differences of light absorption can be detected. Ultrasonic label sensor detects the properties and thinness of the material from the absorption of the ultrasound. Ultrasonic sensors are suitable for the metal label, transparent label and common sticker label counter.
