Ethylene Glycol Monomethyl Ether is chemically known as a Methyl Glycol, 2-Methoxy Ethanol, 1-Methoxy-2-hydroxyethene, Methyl (2-hydroxyethyl) ether. Commercially it is known as a Methyl Cellosolve, which is a trademark of Union Carbide.
