DOLPHIN HIGH TEMPERATURE RTV GASKET MAKER is a onecomponent, ready-to-use silicone adhesive sealant. It has a paste-like consistency and cures to form tough silicone rubber upon exposure to atmospheric moisture at room temperature. It has a maximum operating temperature of 300C Intermittent. DOLPHIN HIGH TEMPERATURE RTV GASKET MAKER has excellent resistance to weather, ozone, UV and chemicals, suitable for bonding and sealing, joining metals & metals and electrical insulation.
Application- Formed in place gasket- Electrical Insulation- Sealing, cooking and heating equipment.- Transmission covers- Timing Case- Engine side cover- Sealant for solar modules, marine freight containers.- Water Pump mounting.
Application instructionSURFACE PREPARATION
The substrate areas that will be in contact with sealant must be clean, dry and free of all loose materials, dust, dirt, rust, oil and other contaminants. Non - porous substrates should be cleaned with a solvent and a clean, lint - free, cotton cloth. Wipe dry immediately with another such cloth before the solvent evaporates from the surface.
TOOLING AND FINISHING
Immediately tool sealant after application and before skin formation. Tooling of sealant should be done in one continuous stroke.
CLEANUP AND REMOVAL
Uncured sealant may be removed from tools, equipment and non-porous surfaces with solvents. For porous substrates, allow the sealant to cure before removal by peeling or other mechanical means. Cured sealant can only be removed mechanically.
When stored in original unopened container at or below 77F (25C) in dry warehouse conditions, DOLPHIN HIGH TEMPERATURE RTV GASKET MAKER has a shelf life of 18 months from manufacturing date. Containers should always be kept sealed when not in use.
HI STICK RTV Gasket Maker is a one-component, ready-to-use silicone adhesive sealant. It has a paste-like consistency and cures to form tough silicone rubber on exposure to atmospheric moisture at room temperature. It can be used for bonding and sealing, joining metals & metals and electrical insulation. HI STICK RTV Gasket Maker has excellent resistance to weather, ozone, UV and chemicals. It is resistant to anti-fungal and anti-bacterial growth.
